Come over the Sagamore (recommended) or Bourne Bridge and follow Route
6 out past the Orleans circle and continue through Eastham. At the Eastham
- Wellfleet line you will see the Wellfleet Cinema and Drive-In on your
left. Set your trip odometer and at 4.4 miles you will see the Wellfleet
Post Office and Cove Corners Shops on your left. Get in the center turning
lane and make a left onto Cove Road at the end of the shopping center.
Take the 3rd right onto Old Pier Road and then the first left onto Partridge
Way. We are # 20 on the right. There is an "Oyster Cove" sign
at the driveway. And you are requested to let us know if you will miss
your expected time of arrival or need directions. Call 508-349-2994.
Warning: the 40 mph speed
limit is strictly enforced in Eastham and Wellfleet on Route 6. It is
a high-accident stretch and the state police patrol it day and night.
You can take a fast ferry from Boston to Provincetown but you will need
to rent a car or taxi to get to Oyster Cove in Wellfleet (about 20 min
from P'town). Cape & Islands Air provides service from Boston and
Providence into Hyannis, Chatham and Provincetown. Same caution applies
about ground transportation. The Plymouth & Brocton Bus Line also
provides service from Providence and Boston to Hyannis. There is a local
P & B bus that runs through each town from Hyannis out to P'town.
We have had guest bike out to us using the Cape Cod Rail Trail most of
the way. We have not yet had guest sail in to Wellfleet Harbor, but we
would welcome you and row out to bring you in to shore! Make arrangements
with the Harbormaster for a mooring.
